Pastoral Policies of Our Lady of the Snows Catholic Community

The following are the policies for the sacramental and pastoral policy of our parish. These are in accord with the Diocese of Reno and with the Code of Canon Law for the Universal Church.

All Baptized Catholics have a right to the sacraments and a responsibility to be prepared to fully celebrate those sacraments. The right and responsibility cannot be separated.

It is the role of the Pastor to ensure that all requirements are satisfied and to provide for the preparation of the persons. This is often delegated through staff and ministry heads.

All Catholics are expected to respect and abide by these policies so that the integrity of the celebration of these sacraments is maintained.
