Baptism Preparation Class

All Parents and ideally Godparents will need to take a Baptism Preparation Class. The classes are held the 2nd Monday of  month currently through Zoom.  To register call the office or email Brucie Ingram (see below) or click HERE
Parents who have taken the class previously within the past 5 years need not repeat the class.


Once parents have taken a class, they  will meet with Deacon Dave and then select a mass date and time in which to celebrate the baptism.

Reminder about Godparents:

• Godparents, if married, must be married in the Catholic Church
• Godparents must have celebrated Baptism, Confirmation and First Communion
• Godparents from outside the parish will need to provide proof of eligibility (baptism certificate with notations, or written approval by their pastor)
• Non Catholics cannot be official godparents, however they can be witnesses to the baptism and participate in the ritual

Children in 2nd grade and older
​These children will go through the OCIA (formerly RCIA) process. This is a 2 year process of catechesis and formation. Children then are baptized, confirmed and receive First Communion at Easter. The same eligibility requirements apply to any Godparent. Contact Lauri Anne Reinhart if you are interested.
