Young Adults Ministry for the 18 – 40 year olds in our parish – married or single.
Please contact Eugene Gasataya at 348-1516 or ya@olsparish.com if you are interested in participating in any of these activities, or if you’d like to be a part of the new Young Adults Leadership Team:
Prayer Shawl ministry
- Intentional ministry to distribute prayer shawls to the homebound in our parish. The goal is to find a "sponsor" for each of our senior citizens residing in a facility for the elderly. The sponsor would adopt an individual (or group) and keep in contact with the homebound resident(s) on a monthly basis - either by phone call, letter, or personal visit. We also have people who are knitting/crocheting prayer shawls on an ongoing basis.
Theology on Tap (TOT) is back again:
Theology on Tap is a speaker series that takes place in the fun, relaxed setting of a local pub. "TOT" focuses on topics of faith and contemporary issues that directly affect the lives of young adults (ages 18-40). The goal is to provide a forum for young adults to learn about and discuss their faith in a relaxing social setting. Everyone is encouraged to come, bring friends, enjoy the talk (talk is 20 - 30 minutes, with a Q & A period to follow). Food and drink will be available to order during the session. Please support our local businesses.
